Gold Motors Body Shop has been established for over 40 years, we are an independent body shop. Over this period of time we have built up a reputation for a high standard of work. Our aim is to give customers complete satisfaction and an exceptional service. We have found over the years that, if you give customers the service and satisfaction they are looking for, they will come back, so this is what we try to do.

For this reason we carry out vehicle repairs to a very high standard. Your vehicle is important to you and therefore it is important to us. When you have an accident in your vehicle we aim to repair it so you get it back on the road and are pleased with the results of our work.

We have 30 qualified members of staff, between our two branches. Our original branch is in Peckham, and, due to the volume of returning customers, we have a branch in Croydon, which opened in September 2009. Our staff are there to repair your vehicle to the highest standard. You may drive a half million pound Rolls Royce, Bentley, a much loved family car, or your work van or vehicle, the service that is bestowed on the vehicle is the same for the top range prestige car as it is for the family car. You can rest assured that every job is important to us.  

We have fully equipped workshops, with the staff to ensure a high standard of work. Our workshops have LOW BAKE OVENS, 2 JIGS, state of the art 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT machines. These all ensure that you car comes back to you in good condition, as it was before your accident. We use water based paint to a high specification - I.C.I, & Glasirit. We have a fully computerized mixing scheme for colours.

Our work covers everything from those annoying little scratches around the door locks, bumper scuffs, car park dents & dings , stone chips, major dents and accident damage to complete re - sprays.  We can help you no matter how small or big the job is.

Our fully computerised estimating system is approved by nearly all insurance companies. Estimates are carried out by fully qualified estimators. Estimates are on a booking in basis, this means we can give each customer the individual attention they deserve. An estimate takes between 5 and 10 minutes to carry out, during the estimate we will take the customers details, insurance details, and also take photographs of the damage. We can discuss and advise our customers on what needs to be done to their vehicle, how long it will take, and answer any questions, and advise how best to proceed with getting the vehicle repaired, with minimal disruption. Once we have all the necessary information, it is loaded onto our estimating system and sent, via email to the insurance company, or whoever is dealing with the claim. If the customer requires a private estimate, this can also be carried out, although there is a small charge for this, which is refundable if the work is carried out by us.

Once we have been authorised to repair a vehicle we will contact our customer, arrange a convenient date for the customer to bring the vehicle to us for repairs. We also offer a FREE collection and delivery service locally. Once the vehicle is with us, we will carry out the repairs as agreed. Once the vehicle has been repaired it is thoroughly cleaned both internally and externally. With most repairs, the vehicle is also given a wax treatment.

For private repairs, once the price is agreed, again the vehicle is booked for the convenience of the customer, and repairs carried out to exactly the same standard.

In the case of smaller repairs such as bumper scuffs, some car park dents & dings and stone chips, repair can sometimes be done same day, we can advise this at the time of estimating.
